Darren Pudgil will go out the door flacking for Mayor Sanders -- Mount Rushmore, for petesake!-- and spinning every fact to his boss' advantage as well as continuing to control local media rather than cooperate, as is any Mayor's public duty. Nobody mentioned here that Sanders' City Hall refuses all requests for public information to the longtime weekly alternative San Diego Reader which has the longest record in local journalism for tweaking the Establishment. My bet is that Darren Pudgil will be rewarded in future by grateful behind-the-scenes backers of our former Police Chief/Mayor with a much better-paying job than the humble work Pudgil envisions for himself as a bartender or construction worker.
