San Diego-based Accelrys Software Inc. (Nasdaq: ACCL) and New York-based AquavitPharmaceuticals Inc. have formed an alliance.
Under the accord signed Sept. 12, Aquavit will utilize the Accelrys Enterprise Platform to develop medical software for personalized medicine.

This partnership will be led by Thomas Benjamin, Aquavit vice president of technology.
