Higgs Fletcher & Mack's Dubick receive Torch of Liberty Award

Mitch Dubick, Higgs Fletcher & Mack’s senior tax partner, and his wife, Julie, were awarded the Anti-Defamation League’s Torch of Liberty award, making them the first individual San Diego recipients.

The award goes to individuals committed to promoting respect, counteracting hatred and bigotry, and supporting fair treatment of all.

Julie Dubick, who is Mayor Sanders’ chief of staff, has served on a number of charity boards including the Girl Scouts of America, Scripps Health, Las Patronas, National Conference for Community & Justice and the San Diego Bar Association. She was previously board president of the San Diego Women’s Foundation.

Mitch Dubick served as chairman of the board for Seacrest Village of San Diego Senior Community Centers and Second Chance, and is a national commissioner and national executive committee member of the Anti-Defamation League. In 1995 he received the League’s first National Young Leadership Award.
