LOS ANGELES (AP) -- A man's body has been found in the rubble of a burned-out Los Angeles business that caught fire early Thursday.
Los Angeles Fire Department spokesman Erik Scott said the blaze began about 2:10 a.m. in a San Fernando Valley strip mall. The body of the man, who hasn't been immediately identified, was discovered by firefighters inside one of the buildings.
Fire officials said there is no evidence to indicate the blaze was a result of arson. The cause of the fire and the man's death remains under investigation.
One firefighter was injured after falling more than 15 feet from a ladder. He was taken to an area hospital and listed in fair condition.
