The project consisted of amassing a 33,885-square-foot facility comprised of three two-story buildings with new equipment.

The first floor of the new facility has four classrooms, four labs, a library area, two assembly rooms and a lecture hall. The second floor also contains four classrooms, along with three labs and 16 faculty offices.

The complex includes a 56-seat humanities theater and a landscaped common area for students.

Additionally, a new security system with cameras and a fire alarm system were installed.

Subjects such as English, anthropology, philosophy, sociology and psychology will be taught in the new complex.

The new buildings are replacing the former humanities and social sciences departments, previously located in portables buildings.
