SAN DIEGO (AP) -- A Marine has died while scuba diving off the coast of San Diego.
The San Diego County medical examiner's office says the 26-year-old woman was with a dive group exploring a sunken ship off Mission Beach on Saturday when she failed to surface.
After a two-hour search, her body was located at the Yukon _ a former Canadian minesweeper that was intentionally sunk at a recreational dive site known as Wreck Alley.
Family members tell KNSD-TV (http://bit.ly/TtV4Oh ) that the woman as Staci Jackson, originally from Philadelphia. She was stationed at Camp Pendleton.
The cause of her death is under investigation and her diving equipment will be checked for possible malfunctions.
