HEMET, Calif. (AP) -- A security guard and a customer tackled a suspected bank robber as she left a Citibank branch in Riverside County.
Police in Hemet tell the Riverside Press-Enterprise (http://bit.ly/11HFd5d) that the 28-year-old unarmed woman walked into the bank Wednesday morning and presented a note to a teller demanding money.
As she was leaving, security guard Alex Garcia and a civilian tackled the woman in the parking lot, and held her until police arrived and arrested her.
Garcia tells the newspaper he was in the right place at the right time.
It was not clear whether the woman got any money.
