Construction Agenda: Port to look at proposal in National City

With the holiday season in full swing, construction news is beginning to wind down, as municipalities are meeting less frequently.

On Tuesday, the Port of San Diego commissioners are slated to hear a presentation on the National City Marina District Vision Plan for a possible 20-acre commercial development with GB Capital Holding LLC.

Also Tuesday, the San Marcos City Council is expected to award an environmental and engineering consulting service contract to Parsons Transportation Group for the Bent Avenue Bridge Project in the amount of $985,096, and a $1.21 million contract for consulting work on the Via Vera Cruz Bridge.

On Thursday, the San Diego Planning Commission is scheduled to hear a request for permits to allow for the construction of 12 residential condominium units at 3402 34th St., located in the Southeastern San Diego Planned District.
