22 high school students arrested in drug sting

TEMECULA, Calif. (AP) -- Twenty-two high school students at three Southern California high schools have been arrested for campus drug dealing in an undercover sting operation where deputies posed as students.

The Riverside Press-Enterprise (http://bit.ly/Xbv8IF ) says the Tuesday morning arrests took place at Temecula Valley High School, Chaparral High School and Rancho Vista Continuation High School.

Riverside County sheriff's deputies posing as students began identifying campus drug dealers during an investigation spanning a couple of months.

Deputies seized marijuana, cocaine, methamphetamine, ecstasy, heroin, LSD and illegal prescription drugs.

The schools are in Temecula, about 70 miles southeast of Los Angeles.
