Industrial building on Birch in Vista sold

The approximately 32,000-square-foot industrial/warehouse building, at 2525 Birch St. in Vista 92081, has been sold for $2,475,000, cash.

The buyers were TOR Investments L.P. (38.88 percent), Jeffrey C. Hamann, trustee of the J.C. Hamann Family Trust (28.35 percent); Gregg Hamann, trustee of the Gregg Hamann Family Trust (28.35 percent); Matthey Phhillip Jones and Phoebe Hamann Jones (2.21 percent); and Brendan and Tish Thiessen (2.21 percent), c/o Hamann Properties Inc., 100 Pioneer Way, El Cajon 92020.

The seller of the property (assessor's parcel 217-253-06) was Thomas Thomas Riley, successor trustee of the Frances O'Brien Declaration of Trust.

The building has been occupied by the Jensen Meat Co., which recently constructed a 74,000-square-foot facility in Otay Mesa in a designated Enterprise Zone that provides companies state business income tax credits, hiring tax credits and sales or use credits.
