Cushman & Wakefield forms new Religious Facilities Group in SD

Cushman & Wakefield has hired brokers Eric Knowles and Rob Fletcher to head up the firm’s newly formed Religious Facilities Group, a service line dedicated to faith-based nonprofit institutions. Knowles will also assume the responsibility of developing the group nationally.

“Eric and Rob’s extensive experience, knowledge and specific focus on religious facilities will allow Cushman & Wakefield to provide best-in-class service to an important sector of the real estate market nationally,” said Steve Rosetta, Cushman vice chairman and market leader of the San Diego area.

With more than 25 years of relevant experience, Knowles and Fletcher have been recognized for advising religious leaders and their boards on financial, zoning, location and neighborhood decisions.

In addition to property acquisitions and dispositions, Knowles and Fletcher also assist clients in analyzing space needs, creating unrelated business income, developing creative financing alternatives, and big box conversions. The team has assisted hundreds of religious organizations in their pursuit of facility acquisitions and asset disposition.
