EUREKA, Calif. (AP) -- Police in Eureka have arrested a suspected heroin dealer who was slumped in a parked car, apparently under the influence of drugs.
Sgt. Steve Watson said a witness called police Sunday afternoon to point out a man who appeared to be passing out in the car, which was parked in front of a business.
Watson said an officer found small amounts of tar heroin, crystal methamphetamine and marijuana, a scale, cash and other evidence in the car.
Watson said Canyon Hodge, who had been wanted on an arrest warrant for possession of a controlled substance, was taken into custody after being roused by the officer.
He was booked for investigation of additional drug charges.
