Home Handy Storage, the 422-unit, 42,000-square-foot self-storage property at 4773 Home Ave., San Diego 92105, has been sold for $3,512,500.

The buyer was Home Avenue Storage, LLC, a California limited liability company, 5449 Taft Ave., La Jolla 92037, with John R. McGrath, Jr. and Dennis Levitt managers. Purchase financing of $2.4 million was arranged by G. Andrew Graham III, of Cornerstone Realty Finance Inc. for Manufactures Bank.

The seller of the property (476-412-03) was Catherine Hullman, as trustee of the Grace 1991 Family Trust Marital Trust, and J.R. Enterprises Inc. Hullman is president of J.R. Enterprises.

The seller was represented by Cody Evans of South Coast Commercial. The buyer represented itself.

The one- and two-story self-storage facility was built in 1977 and occupies a 1.06 acre lot at the corner of Home and Euclid Avenue.

The new ownership plans a major renovation of the property and re-branding as a Super Storage, an 11-property Central and Southern California self-storage portfolio managed by John McGrath.
