LOS ANGELES (AP) -- Police say a man riding a bicycle was shot to death in South Los Angeles but no one saw the killing.
Lt. Jeff Nolte tells City News Service the man collapsed in the street after being shot at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
A passerby noticed the injured man and called paramedics, who rushed him to a hospital, where he died. The victim was identified as 46-year-old Don Jackson.
Nolte says at least one person heard the gunshot but nobody witnessed the shooting.
The motive for the shooting is unknown.
Investigators are looking for surveillance cameras on commercial and residential buildings.
