SD gas prices increase slightly

Southern California gas prices posted net gains for the week after dropping slightly for a day or two in many areas, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California's Weekend Gas Watch.

The state average is $3.988 a gallon for regular as of Thursday, 1.8 cents more than last week.

The average price of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego is $4.023, which is 1.6 cents above last week, 13 cents higher than last month, and 5 cents lower than last year.

In the Los Angeles-Long Beach area, the average price is $4.061 per gallon, which is 1.6 cents more than last week, 16.5 cents higher than last month, and 4 cents lower than last year. On the Central Coast, the average price is $4.069, up 1.6 cents from last week, 17 cents higher than a month ago, and 9 cents less than last year. In the Inland Empire, the average per-gallon price is $4.014, up 1.3 cents from last week, 14 cents more than last month, and 6 cents less than last year.
