The Earl B. Gilliam Bar Association, in partnership with the La Raza Lawyers Association, will be hosting free legal workshops throughout May and June. The Neighborhood Law School workshops will be held from 6-8 p.m., every Wednesday from May 21-June 18 with the final class on Monday, June 30.
The courses are designed to give useful and helpful legal information on a variety of topics to the general public, especially communities who would not generally have access to legal information.
Workshops include criminal law, immigration, landlord & tenant law, employment law, family law and child custody law, and consumer rights and protections.
All workshops are open to the public and will take place at the Jacobs Center of Neighborhood Innovation (404 Euclid Ave., San Diego 92114). Refreshments will be provided. To register, visit neighborhoodlaw.eventbrite.com or email firstname.lastname@example.org. For more information, visit earlbgilliambar.org. Space is limited.
