Youngevity expands to Malaysia

Youngevity International Inc. (OTC: YGYI), a San Diego-based global direct marketer of nutritional and lifestyle products including gourmet coffee, has opened an office in Johor Bahru, Malaysia to serve Southeast Asia.

“We are very excited about being registered in Malaysia and opening an office as we intend to increase our direct selling coverage and distribution model in the fast-growing Southeast Asian markets,” said Steve Wallach, Youngevity’s CEO, in a statement. “Youngevity has embarked on a strategic global expansion strategy to capitalize on the growing international demand for our products and business opportunity."

Youngetivity launched its products at the recent 54th National Malaysian Medical Association AGM & Scientific Meeting of the Private Medical Practitioners, a three day conference attended by more than 700 medical practitioners from Malaysia and Singapore.

The current company was formed after the merger of Youngevity Essential Life Sciences and Javalution Coffee Co. in the summer of 2011. The company was formerly known as AL International Inc. and changed its name to Youngevity International Inc. in July 2013.
