The fourth annual Mercy Outreach Surgical Team (M.O.S.T.) Mariachi Festival has been scheduled for Saturday, Oct. 4, from 5:30 to 9 p.m. at the Joe & Vi Jacobs Center in southeastern San Diego.
The festival, presented by Scripps Mercy Hospital Foundation, will feature Mexican food, live mariachi, folkloric dancers and a silent auction.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the surgical team at Scripps Mercy Hospital, a volunteer medical organization that helps people in need of surgical care in Mexico.
The organization relies on donations and conducts missions to correct cleft palates, burn scars and other conditions. More than 10,000 patients have been served since M.O.S.T. formed in 1988.
Tickets for the event are $75 per person. For more information go to scripps.org/mostfestival or contact Denise Mallari at 858-678-7174 or email@example.com.
