Gas prices continue to fall

Average gasoline prices in all regions have continued to fall, marking the fourth consecutive week of price drops, according to the Automobile Club of Southern California's Weekend Gas Watch.

The retail state average is $3.932 a gallon for regular as of Thursday, 4.6 cents less than last week.

The average price of self-serve regular gasoline in San Diego is $3.899 per gallon, which is 5 cents less than last week, 25.4 cents higher than last month, and 7.41 cents lower than last year.

In the Los Angeles-Long Beach area, the average price is $3.928, which is 6.1 cents less than last week, 25.1 cents less than last month, and 6.1 cents lower than last year. On the Central Coast, the average price is $3.999, 5.6 cents less than last week, 17.2 cents lower than a month ago, and 6.8 cents less than last year. In the Inland Empire, the average per-gallon price is $3.894, down 6.5 cents from last week, 25.2 cents less than last month, and 7.7 cents less than last year.
