Civic SD approves Makers Quarter’s first residential mixed-use development

Civic San Diego's board of directors unanimously approved Makers Quarter’s first residential mixed-use development on Wednesday.

Broadstone Makers Quarter will feature 269 residential units and 5,100 square feet of retail space, on a 1.15-acre lot located along the northeastern border of Makers Quarter in the East Village.

The residential project will include street-front commercial space that reflects the unique interests and culture of adjacent neighborhoods.

The site is adjacent to San Diego City College, two blocks north of the future East Village Green Park and one-quarter mile south of Balboa Park.

The development team for this project includes Makers Quarter, Alliance Residential Company and L2HP, which is a partnership between Lankford & Associates, HP Investors and Hensel Phelps.
