Workforce and training

Each year, hundreds of ambitious men and women in San Diego and Imperial Counties have the opportunity to get a top-notch education and gain valuable work experience through our San Diego Electrical Training Center’s specialized apprenticeship programs. Good labor relations policies allow NECA and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW 569) to work together to support our joint training center, which is the most technologically advanced facility of its kind in California. As apprentices at the San Diego Electrical Training Center, students attend demanding college accredited classes and develop skills through computer learning, tools, labs, and then immediately apply their skills in the real world, every day.
