The lessee of the Deal of the Week was represented by Kyle Clark, of The Heritage Group. The lessor was represented by Scott Kincaid, of CBRE (NYSE: CBG).
The deal was a lease by Civilian Inc. of 5,348 square feet of retail space at Liberty Station, 2468 Historic Decatur Road, San Diego, from McMillin NTC 905 LLC. The property was leased for five years at $1,001,000.
Construction was completed on 2468 Historic Decatur Road in June 2005. The developer of the two-story, 36,000-square-foot office building was McMillin Commercial. The new speculative office building and others emulated the original historic barracks at the Naval Training Center.
The structure was part of the conversion of the 361-acre former Naval Training Center into Liberty Station, a mixed-use residential/commercial development. Corky McMillin was the master redeveloper of the NTC property.
