It is thought that Kearney has been implicated in the theft of sixty automobiles during the last year. The steam schooner Noyo ran ashore off La Jolla yesterday morning, having been driven four miles off her course by a strong inshore current. The tug Bahada towed the Noyo to this city yesterday. Only the funnel, masts and upper part of the cabin were showing above water as she was brought into port. That the vessel did not founder when she struck was due to the fact that she carried a cargo of lumber. The monitor Cheyenne and the three submarines-H-1, H-2, H-3-left this morning for Los Angeles in order to give the officers and men an opportunity to have Thanksgiving with their families. They will return on Friday. The Glacier left for Mexico yesterday, carrying Thanksgiving supplies for the United States ships in Mexican waters. Over 10,000 ice cream bricks and other delicacies are on board to be distributed in time for Thanksgiving dinner.
