Ginger Graham

Under Chief Executive Officer Ginger L. Graham, Amylin Pharmaceuticals has grown from a small company of 400 employees to more than 1,200. The company has evolved from a research-based biotech company into a fully commercial enterprise with two first-in-class medicines for diabetics, Symlin and Byetta.

Aside from her recent corporate achievements, Graham has also created a company culture that highlights community involvement. Under her leadership and direction, a Community Affairs office was created and staffed to ensure that Amylin supports local and other area initiatives that align with the company's mission. Graham has also been personally recognized as a role model for women and the biotechnology industry, and she continues to enrich the San Diego community by serving on a variety of distinguished boards, including the UCSD Health Sciences Advisory Board.
