Dottie Ledesma

When general contractor Dottie Ledesma bought out her business partner, Paul Brieck, in 2005, she held a contest among the employees to rename the insurance repair and emergency services company that had operated as Brieck Construction & Restoration since 1992.

Generation Contracting & Emergency Services was the obvious winner: Ledesma's three grown children, Scott, Steve and Leanne all worked their way up from digging ditches and data entry to management.
