Tony Calabrese is a Point Loma resident with 27 years of banking experience, spending 19 of those years at San Diego Trust & Savings Bank and five years at Peninsula Bank in Point Loma.
Calabrese's community involvement includes officer or board positions with United Way/CHAD, Rotary Club of Point Loma, Point Loma Association, Peninsula Chamber of Commerce, Peninsula YMCA, Point Loma High School, United Portuguese S.E.S Inc., Portuguese Historical Center, St. Augustine High School Booster Club, University of San Diego High School and Cabrillo Civic Clubs of California.
He is president and founder of ComedyWorks, a company that provides comedians, masters of ceremonies and auctioneers to charity organizations for fundraising efforts. In 1997, he created a "Humor in the Workplace" seminar with a curriculum designed for each employee to be more productive by using humor to think creatively.
