Mr. Michael Bixler

After two terms as mayor, Michael Bixler was appointed to the Port of San Diego Board of Port Commissioners in 2002 to represent Imperial Beach. Bixler filled the remaining term of a former commissioner -- his current four-year term will be up in 2011 -- and is part of a seven-member port board, comprised of one commissioner for Chula Vista, Coronado, Imperial Beach and National City and three for San Diego.
