Duane Roth

Duane Roth is CEO of Connect, a technology and business accelerator helping San Diego-based technology and life science companies. But his connection to the community reaches beyond his role as Connect's leader.

Roth is a member of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger's California Commission for Jobs and Economic Growth. He also now serves on the boards of the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce and the SDSU College of Business, and he acts as co-chair of the Regional Housing Task force on Affordable Housing.

As CEO of Connect, Roth has facilitated its contribution to the growth of over 900 companies and has helped raise over $11 million in capital. In the spring of 2006, Connect launched the Venture Roundtable, which provides a forum for local companies and research institutions to showcase their emerging technology developments. It's also a new way to inform the investment community of San Diego's latest innovations.
