As an investment adviser, Joseph Childrey likens himself to an orchestra conductor, creating harmony from what seems to be cacophony.
"Anytime is the right time to create an investment portfolio that makes sense, that has rhyme and reason," Childrey said in a recent interview.
The 20-year industry veteran started his La Jolla advisory firm, Childrey Investment Partners LLC, in late 2007 with one goal in mind: to maximize value for his clients.
The objective itself is not unusual, but Childrey and his team take a different approach by attempting to minimize the fees, the taxes and even the sometimes-stressful guesswork investors endure.
