About: Mr. Donald Kent

Scientists with the independent, nonprofit Hubbs-SeaWorld Research Institute, founded in 1963, have crisscrossed the world's terrains studying endangered and possibly threatened marine wildlife, such as the Arctic polar bear, Hawaiian monk seal, humpback whale and manatee.
The institute's 60-person team focuses its research on four core areas: ecology, physiology, bioacoustics and aquaculture.
It's the latter subject -- aquaculture -- that really sparked President Don Kent's interest.
