Michael Conger

Mike Conger began his legal career in 1986 at a medium-sized law firm in Tulsa, Okla. After four years there, he moved to San Diego to work for an insurance defense firm, and in 1992, he joined a small plaintiff's firm headed by Brian Monaghan.

Conger eventually became a named partner with the firm, but when Monahan had to stop practicing because of cancer in 1999, the two decided to dissolve the firm.

In March of '99, Conger, who never considered joining a large law firm, opened his own office.
