For commercial, industrial and technical companies in San Diego County who are looking to hire, an alternative that can save the company time is leaving the recruiting and hiring to a staffing agency.
One such staffing agency is Aerotek, which provides companies with skilled technology staff as well as engineering, aviation and scientific professionals.
"We're the fastest growing staffing company in the county," said Doug Poldrugo, director of business operations for the two county offices and the Temecula office.
Poldrugo was previously in the Marines before joining Aerotek, where he has worked for the past nine years. He attributes the company's growth and ability to compete with other large staffing agencies to an aggressive and committed sales force and the professionals they assist.
"We're gaining a serious market share on them (other large staffing agencies). Ultimately it's the people that we hire ... it's a brutal industry, but we try to help them excel individually," Poldrugo said.
