Providing people with the information necessary to make educated decisions has been the lifework of George Hawkins, retiring president and chief executive officer of the Associated Builders and Contractors San Diego chapter.
Once a broadcast news reporter, Hawkins carried his passion for informing the public, into his work at ABC.
Over the course of his 35-year career, Hawkins became a trusted source of information on the intricacies of trends and legislation affecting the construction industry.
"You have to have information to make educated decisions," Hawkins said.
