As director of corporate operations and chief information officer for SPAWAR, Gary Wang develops and implants the technology strategy for more 12,000 employees worldwide, all in service of protecting the United States.
But Wang’s biggest influence may be what he is trying to impart on young people. Wang is involved with SPAWAR’s STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), which aims to get middle and high school students more engaged in science and technology, and teach them how to be safer on the web.
