Donald E. Felsinger is chairman and CEO of Sempra Energy, a San Diego-based Fortune 500 company. Felsinger has been with the company for more than 30 years, steadily climbing his way up the ranks. In his current job, which he has held since Feb. 1, Felsinger directs the strategic operations of all the Sempra Energy companies.
He is active in many groups, serving or having served on the boards of the U.S.-Mexico Chamber of Commerce, the University of California, San Diego's Institute of the Americas, the Green Foundation and as co-chairman of the Forum Fronterizo Council of the San Diego Dialogue. He is a member of The Conference Board and the California Business Roundtable.
Sempra Energy is an energy services holding company with 2005 revenues of $11.7 billion. The Sempra Energy companies' 14,000 employees serve more than 29 million consumers in the United States, Europe, Canada, Mexico, South America and Asia.
