The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for MNTN EMPIRE COMM. CNTR-CAMPO PLAYGROUND-PHASE 1; PROJECT No. 1013750; (BID No. 4282).

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, California, 92131, until 2:00 p.m. on JANUARY 21, 2010, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents (including reduced Plans only, Specifications and Proposal Forms) will be available on CD after 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, DECEMBER 22, 2009 and may be purchased for the sum of $10.00 (including tax) per CD at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, CA 92131. Mail service is available for an additional cost of $10.00 per CD. For mail service, contact cashier at (858) 537-2505. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor, or Classification B General Building Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be $375,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. This is a Community Development Block Grant Project, A Federal Assistance Grant of The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. Preference in award will be in conformance to provision 24 CFR 135, Appendix, Section III (2) “Procurement by Sealed Bids (Invitation for Bids). The Owner, as a matter of policy, encourages the participation of disabled veteran owned businesses. The County of San Diego, Owner, invites bids for Jamacha Blvd. Phase 1 Road Widening Improvements; PROJECT 1013678 (RFB 4266).

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, at 10089 Willow Creek Rd, Ste. 150, San Diego, 92131, until 2:00 PM on January 14, 2010, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents on CD, including reduced plans only, may be purchased for the sum of $10.00 (including tax) per set at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, CA 92131. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. A Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) goal of three percent (3%) has been established for this project.
