The SAN DIEGO ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNMENTS (SANDAG), 401 B Street, Suite 800, San Diego, CA 92101-4231, is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide services for design and construction (design-build) of the expansion of the San Diego Metropolitan Transit System (MTS) South Bay Bus Maintenance Facility located at 3650 Main Street, Chula Vista, CA. The improvements include, but are not limited to, the following.
·  A new high-bay Maintenance Building with an approximate at-grade area of 40,000 square feet plus 9,000 square feet of mezzanine area. The building must accommodate 10 open service bays for 40-foot buses, 5 service bays for longer articulated buses, a chassis wash bay (steam rack), parts storage and distribution, fluid storage, workshops and tool storage, administrative and managerial offices, staff support areas, and mechanical and electrical rooms.
·   Maintenance equipment, including vehicle lifts and wash systems.
·  Alterations to existing maintenance building 3650A Main Street, including minor changes to accommodate the relocation of the maintenance service function to the new maintenance building  and the demolition of a portion of the attached low-rise administration wing and the construction of new exterior enclosure walls to maintain use of the remaining attached portion.
·  A new two-story Operations and Administration Building with two floors totaling approximately 12,000 square feet adjacent to existing building 3620.
·  Uncovered paved parking for approximately 240 buses on existing site paving with existing site lighting and a new paved public parking lot for approximately 18 vehicles adjacent to the new Operations and Administration building.
The Engineer’s Estimate is in the range of $26,000,000 to $28,500,000.
This project is funded in part with FTA funding. The UDBE goal is 3.93 percent. The Prime General contractor must perform with their own organization at least 10 percent of the work.
A non-mandatory prequalification meeting will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012, from 10:00 a.m. until noon at SANDAG, 401 B Street, San Diego, 7th Floor, in the Wells Fargo Building. To attend the site walk, meet at 1:00 p.m. that day at 3650 Main Street, Chula Vista, CA.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Southwestern Community College District of San Diego County, California, acting by and through its Governing Board, hereinafter referred to as the “DISTRICT” will receive up to, but no later than, TWO O'CLOCK PM (2:00PM) on the 25th day of January, 2012 the required prequalification documents for the “Central Plant, Field House and Stadium Improvements and the Corner Lot Projects”.

The Prequalification submission date has been changed from January 11 to January 25, 2012.

Rainbow Municipal Water District is soliciting proposals from qualified civil engineering firms for the Alternate Water Source Feasibility Study.
The intent of the study shall be to assess the feasibility, including costs and funding sources, of a parallel water system for domestic water supply, and utilizing “alternate” water such as Untreated Metropolitan Water District water, local groundwater or reclaimed water, thoroughly evaluate alternative water source and analyze the pros and cons of the sources, develop high-level action plans for obtaining the more likely sources, analyze the possible funding sources and staging of a parallel system.

The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority (Authority) seeks proposals from firms for provision of Financial Advisor Services. The recommended firm shall provide strategic financial advice and assistance with implementation of the Authority's capital program, including, but not limited to: development of financial plans and projections; recommendation of bond funding strategies and coordination of implementation; maintenance of the Authority's strong relationships with credit rating agencies; development and maintenance of financial models; and, completion of other special analysis. Firms with demonstrated experience in the provision of the noted financial services are encouraged to participate.
