A Request for Proposal (RFP) has been issued for the purpose of obtaining an independent adjudication agency to perform the administrative parking citation hearings for the City of San Diego and other specified entities. The City desires to enter into a five-year contract for these services with a single independent adjudication agency.
It is the policy of the City of San Diego to encourage equal opportunity in its professional service contracts. As a property owner, tenant or person who has requested notice, you should know that the Planning Commission will hold a public hearing to recommend approval, conditional approval, or denial to the City Council of an application for a Neighborhood Development Permit, Variance and Sewer Easement Abandonment in order to construct a new 4,592 square-foot single-family residence on a vacant 0.22-acre site containing steep hillsides and sensitive vegetation, where the residence will encroach into the required side yard. The project site is located at 5242 Cromwell Ct. in the RS-1-7, RS-1-1 and OR-1-1 Zone, within the Normal Heights Neighborhood Element of the Mid-City Communities Plan.
The decision to approve, conditionally approve, modify or deny the Neighborhood Development Permit, Variance and Sewer Easement Abandonment will be made by the City Council at a future public hearing. You will also receive a notice of the City Council public hearing.

As a representative of a recognized Community Planning Group, Redevelopment Project Area Committee, or person who has requested notice, you should know that the San Diego City Council will hold a public hearing to consider approval, modification, or denial of a proposal to amend the CityÕs Land Development Code to clarify that the definition of "Applicant" (Land Development Code Section 113.0103) and "Application Process" (Land Development Code Section 112.0102) includes any project proposal with a City Council / Redevelopment Agency approved and executed Disposition and Development Agreement (DDA).
The proposed action will also require approval of an amendment to the City of San DiegoÕs Local Coastal Program. Final approval of the proposed Land Development Code Amendment is subject to certification by the California State Coastal Commission. As such, the amendment does not become effective within the CityÕs recognized coastal zone boundaries until final certification by the Coastal Commission has occurred.
