NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the County of San Diego will receive sealed bids until 2 pm on FEBRUARY 11, 2002, at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, Bldg. 11, 5555 Overland Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123 where bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Project is LAKESIDE TEEN CENTER; PROJECT NO. KN0884 (BID 30116). The project consists of two offices, Men?s and Women?s toilet facilities, Music room, multipurpose room and a small vestibule. The work consists of building a single story, wood frame type V construction (approx. 2200 S.F.) with stucco and metal roof for exterior finishes; painted drywall and drop ceiling s for interior finishes. Landscape, irrigation, mechanical, plumbing, and electrical services are included. A concrete plaza with amenities connecting the new Teen Center with existing Community Center is part of the work.
A pre-bid conference will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on January 27, 2003 at the construction site, 9839 Vine Street, Lakeside, CA.
The Contractor shall possess a California contractor?s license, classification B.
Contract Documents will be available for purchase January 15, 2003 for the sum of $35.00 (including tax) at the office of Purchasing and Contracting, Cashier, Building 11, County Operations Center, 5555 Overland Avenue, San Diego, CA 92123. Make checks payable to County of San Diego; no refund will be made. Mail Service is available only to prospective bidders outside a 30-mile radius of County Operations Center for an additional cost of $10.00 per set of documents.
