NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS

The County of San Diego, Owner, invites bids for JAMACHA BOULEVARD SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENTS IN SPRING VALLEY; ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1018657; A COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT PROJECT - A FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT OF THE U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT; BID No. 6765.

Sealed bids will be received at the Department of Purchasing and Contracting, at 5560 Overland Avenue, Ste. 270, San Diego, 92123, until 2:00 PM on February 5, 2015, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available for download on the County Buynet site: http://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov.You must be registered at the site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor or Classification C-8, Concrete Contractor or Classification C-12, Earthwork and Paving Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $165,000 to $175,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. The Owner, as a matter of policy, encourages Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation for this project. NOTICE OF PRELIMINARY DECISION
TO APPROVE A SOURCE OF AIR POLLUTION BY THE
SAN DIEGO COUNTY AIR POLLUTION CONTROL DISTRICT

The San Diego County Air Pollution Control District hereby gives notice that in accordance with Rule 20.2 of the District's Rules and Regulations, the Air Pollution Control Officer has made a preliminary decision to issue an Authority to Construct/Permit to Operate to Granite Construction Company, for an aggregate processing plant with quarry blasting and quarry operation located at 5600 Highway 76, Fallbrook, CA 92028.

An evaluation of the air pollution impacts of this proposal is performed by the District. An air quality impact analysis is conducted pursuant to District Rule 20.2. The analysis indicates that the proposed operation will not result in the violation of any State or Federal ambient air quality standard. It is determined that all the other applicable District Rules and Regulations will be met when the operation complies with conditions prescribed by the District. The Air Quality Impact Analysis is available for review at the Air Pollution Control District, 10124 Old Grove Road, San Diego, CA 92131.

Written comments concerning the District's proposed action may be submitted to the Air Pollution Control District, 10124 Old Grove Road, San Diego, CA 92131, for a period of 30 days, commencing on January 15, 2015, and ending on February 17, 2015.

The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority (”Authority”) seeks proposals from firms or individuals to provide on-call reprographics and related services for San Diego International Airport.
