The County of San Diego, Owner, invites bids for San Dieguito Park ADA Accessible Restroom and Storage Building; PROJECT 1008292 (RFB 4281).

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, at 10089 Willow Creek Rd, Ste. 150, San Diego, 92131, until 2:00 PM on February 23, 2010, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Contract documents on CD, including reduced plans only may be purchased for the sum of $10.00 (including tax) per set at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, CA 92131. Mail service is available only to those prospective bidders outside a 30-mile radius for an additional cost of $10.00 per CD. For mail service contact cashier at (858) 537-2505. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor or Classification B, General Building Contractor. There is a pre-bid meeting scheduled for 10:00 am on January 28, 2010 at San Dieguito County Park, 1628 Lomas Santa De Drive. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $375,000 to $400,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds for 100% of the contract amount. Prevailing Wage rates apply. The County of San Diego, Owner, invites bids for JOB ORDER CONTRACT (JOCs); 149, ENERGY MANAGEMENT-CONTROLS $2,500,000. maximum capacity (RFB 4315); AN ARRA FUNDED PROJECT;JOB ORDER CONTRACT (JOC'S)150, ENERGY MANAGEMENT-LIGHTING & ELECTRICAL RETROFIT $2,500,000. maximum capacity(RFB 4316); AN ARRA FUNDED PROJECT.

Sealed bids will be accepted from bidders only at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, for RFB 4315 and RFB 4316 on FEBRUARY 9, 2010, by 2:00 PM, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid Security in the amount of 5% of the total bid is required at time of sealed bid. SUMMARY OF PROPOSED
ORDINANCE

Notice is hereby given that the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Diego will consider for adoption an ordinance authorizing a First Amendment to the contract agreement entitled “Purchase and Sale and Joint Escrow instructions relating to the sale of the County Operations Center Annex property consisting of approximately 19.5 acres located at the southeasterly corner of Clairemont Mesa Boulevard and Ruffin Road in the City of San Diego, California, and further identified as County Assessor's Parcel 369-121-14. Said proposed ordinance will be presented to the Board of Supervisors at a public hearing on January 26, 2010 at which time public testimony will be received. The Board meets at 9:00 a.m. in Room 310 of the County Administration Center, 1600 Pacific Highway, San Diego, California.

Interested persons are encouraged to review the text of the proposed ordinance in detail. A copy of the proposed ordinance is posted in the Office of the Clerk of the Board of Supervisors, Room 402, of said Administration Center. A copy of the First Amendment to the Purchase and Sale and Joint Escrow Instructions is available for review by calling Carl Harry at (858) 694-2317.
