CAMPO ROAD SEWER REPLACEMENT PROJECT (CIP S2024)

The Otay Water District (District) will require the professional services of an engineering firm for the design of the Campo Road Sewer Replacement Project. The Project includes the replacement of approximately 9,225 linear feet of existing 10-inch sewer pipeline with a new designed 15-inch gravity sewer pipeline and the design of repair/replacement of four segments of 8-inch gravity sewer lines. The general scope of work for the Project includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Preliminary Design Report Preparation
Construction Contract Documents Preparation
Investigation of Existing Conditions and Facilities
Professional Surveying
Environmental and CalTrans Permitting
Bidding Assistance
Construction Support

Interested candidates are required to e-mail a Letter of Interest (LOI) and a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to the District's Project Manager, Stephen Beppler, P.E., at steve.beppler@otaywater.gov no later than Wednesday, January 31, 2014. Request for Proposal (RFP) materials will be e-mailed to qualified firms within two business days after issuance of the RFP and confirmed receipt of LOI and SOQ via email. If a firm has submitted a SOQ to the District within the calendar year and the qualifications remain current and accurate, then only a Letter of Interest is required.

Questions from consultants to discuss the RFP must be in writing to the District's Project Manager. Any clarification, amendment, or changes to the RFP will be in writing and sent to all consultants proposing on the professional engineering design services.

ON CALL APPRAISAL AND GENERAL RIGHT-OF-WAY MANAGEMENT
SERVICES

The San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG), 401 B Street, Suite 800, San Diego, CA 92101 4231, is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFP) from qualified firms to provide on an on call, as required basis “Appraisal and General Right-of-Way Management Services” for the SANDAG transportation capital improvement program. SANDAG anticipates awarding multiple contracts to multiple firms under this RFP.

Task Orders issued under the resulting contracts may be funded in whole or in part with Federal Transit Administration, Federal Highway Administration, and/or American Recovery and Reinvestment Act funding. Any applicable race conscious Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) and/or Underutilized Disadvantage Business Enterprise (UDBE) goals for any Task Order projects will be established on a Task Order by Task Order basis. The Task Order DBE-UDBE goals will range from 0 percent to 2 percent based on the individual Task Order funding source and project specific scope of work.

Pre-Proposal Meeting: A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014, at 10 a.m. at SANDAG, 401 B Street, 7th Floor, San Diego, CA 92101-4321.

Proposal Due Date: RFPs must be received by 1 p.m. on Monday, March 3, 2014, at the SANDAG offices, 8th floor.
