Take notice that the Plaintiff has filed with the clerk of the Superior Court, in the district of Frontenac, the present motion for divorce and that if you wish to contest, you must first appear by filing with the office of the Court a written appearance signed by yourself or your attorney within TWENTY (20) days of the service of the divorce application, or within FORTY (40) days, if service is made outside of Quebec.
If you fail to appear or to constest with such period, the Plaintiff may obtain a divorce judgment against you by default and without any further notice, upon the expiry of the deadline of either 20 or 40 days
If you do appear, the motion will be presented at Court on April 20th, 2005, in Thetford-Mines, Province of Quebec, located at 693 St-Alphonse West, at 9:15 a.m., room 1.05, and the court will then be able to make use of the necessary powers to ensure the good proceeding of the motion or to proceed with the hearing, unless the plaintiff or his attorney agrees, in writing, as to the setting of the agenda in order to ensure the good proceeding of the motion, and this agenda would have to be filed with the court's record.
