NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS


The County of San Diego, Owner, invites sealed bids for CONSTRUCTION OF SWEETWATER LANE FITNESS COURSE, ORACLE PROJECT NO. 1015516; BID No. 5399. This is a Community Development Block Grant Project, a Federal Assistance Grant of the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. The work to be performed under this contract is subject to the requirements of Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968, as amended, 12 U.S.C. 1701u (Section 3).

Sealed bids will be received at the Office of Purchasing and Contracting, 10089 Willow Creek Road, Suite 150, San Diego, California, 92131, until 2:00 p.m. on February 14, 2012, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. A pre-bid meeting is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on February 2, 2012 at 1312 Sweetwater Lane, SPRING VALLEY, CA 91977 (2008 THOMAS GUIDE PG. 1272, A2). Contract Documents including Plans, Specifications and Bid Forms are available to be downloaded free of charge, from the Department of Purchasing and Contracting Buynet website at: http://buynet.sdcounty.ca.gov. Registration is required at this site in order to download documents. The Contractor shall possess, at the time of submitting the bid, a California contractor's license, Classification A, General Engineering Contractor, or Classification C-12, Earthwork and Paving Contractor. The cost of construction is estimated to be from $150,000-$170,000. Bid security of no less than 10% required at time of bid. Successful bidder shall provide Payment and Performance Bonds of 100% of the awarded contract amount. State Prevailing and Federal Minimum Wage Rates rates apply. The Owner, as a matter of policy, encourages the participation of disabled veteran owned businesses. Plaintiff seeks relief in this action affecting title and the right to possession of any and all funds in bank accounts at Bank of America in the name of David Zepeda, SB Management, and/or Sunset Beach Trust.
Plaintiff further seeks relief in this action affecting title and the right to possession of any and all funds held for payment of cashier's checks made payable to David Zepeda Trustee and any un-cashed cashier's checks remitted from any bank account at Bank of America in the name of David Zepeda, SB Management, and/or Sunset Beach Trust.
Plaintiff further seeks relief in this action affecting title and the right to possession of a Bentley Automobile, VIN SCBLC37F74CX09970.
In addition, plaintiff seeks relief in this action affecting title and the right to possession of assets stored in a safe at the residence located at 6643 N. Ofelia Drive, including United States currency, cashier's checks made payable to David Zepeda Trustee, Mexican coins, United States coins, Chinese coins, silver-colored troy ounces and troy ounce coins, jewelry, gold-colored coins, and silver-colored coins.
Any person claiming an interest in the protected property may, at any time within 30 days from the date of the first publication of the notice of the petition, or within 30 days after received of actual notice, file with the superior court of the county in which the action is pending a verified claim stating the nature and amount of his or her interest in the property.
