AND INSPECTION SERVICES


Otay Water District (District) has several Capital Improvement Program (CIP) projects in final design that will begin construction for a period of two Fiscal Years (FY 2016 - FY 2017). Due to the District's workload, the District may require additional staff to assist with construction management and inspection of these projects. The projects include, but are not limited to, sanitary sewer pipelines, potable water pipelines, recycled water pipelines, pump station upgrades, interconnections, and reservoir coating projects.

This contract has a $350,000 not-to-exceed budget for as-needed professional ser-
vices. The duration is anticipated to be for Fiscal Years 2016 through 2017. The contractual end date will be June 30, 2017.

Interested candidates are required to send a Letter of Interest (LOI) and a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to Dan Martin, P.E., Engineering Manager, Otay Water District, 2554 Sweetwater Springs Boulevard, Spring Valley, California 91978-2004 or e-mail dan.martin@otaywater.gov. If a firm has submitted a SOQ to the District within the calendar year and the qualifications remain current and accurate, then only a LOI is required.

Deadline to submit LOI and SOQ will be 4:00 PM (Pacific Time), Tuesday, February 10, 2015.

Notice is hereby given that BMR Construction, Inc. will receive qualified bids for Paseo Del Sur Phase-5 Improvements (T-47.3) consisting of Surface Improvements, Street Lights, Traffic Signals, Landscape and Irrigation Improvements, Etc. at 16010 Camino Del Sur, San Diego, CA 92127 where bids are to be submitted prior to the time specified. Each Bidder that submits a bid must have a Class 'A' State Contractors License in good standing. The Engineer's estimate on this project is $1,552,455. URBAN CORPS OF SAN DIEGO COUNTY
Urban Corps Facility Improvements

Urban Corps of San Diego County (Owner) invites sealed bids from licensed, qualified General Contractors for providing the design, materials and installation of tenant improvements that include installation of an overhead sprinkler system, plumbing replacements, and installation and extension of a heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) system located at 3127 Jefferson Street, San Diego, CA 92110. Contract amount not to exceed $499,851.
Sealed bid packages must be returned to front lobby receptionist at 3127 Jefferson Street, San Diego, CA 92110 no later than 2:00 pm PST on Tuesday, February 17, 2015. A bid, payment and performance bond will be required. A mandatory pre-bid job walk with the Agency will be held on Friday, January 30, 2015 at 10:00 am PST, to review construction administration procedures, existing site conditions, construction access, staging areas, safety and protection and to distribute Request for Proposal documents (RFP). This project is funded by Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds and as such the entire project is subject to Davis-Bacon Wage Determination (PREVAILING WAGE and CERTIFIED PAYROLL); and Section 3 of the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) Act [12 U.S.C. 1701u and 24 CFR Part 135]. Section 3 is HUD's legislative directive for providing preference to low- and very low-income residents of the local community (regardless of race or gender), and the businesses that substantially employ these persons, for new employment, training, and contracting opportunities resulting from HUD-funded projects. This design/build tenant improvements project must be carried out in accordance with the Agency's signed agreement with the City of San Diego.
