As a property owner, tenant, or person who has requested notice, please be advised that the Hearing Officer will hold a public hearing to approve, conditionally approve, modify or deny an application for a Site Development Permit to allow the demolition of two, single-story commercial buildings and the construction of one, four-story 256,200 square foot self-storage building, with deviations for floor are ratio (FAR) and parking. The 6.29 acre project site is located at 4696 and 4698 Alvarado Canyon Road in the IL-3-1 zone of the Navajo Community Plan area.
The decision of the Hearing Officer is final unless appealed to the Planning Commission. In order to appeal the decision you must be present at the public hearing and file a speaker slip concerning the application or have expressed interest by writing to the Hearing Officer before the close of the public hearing. To file an appeal to the Planning Commission contact staff at the Planning Department, 202 "C" St., Fifth Floor, San Diego, CA. The appeal must be made within 10 working days of the Hearing Officer's decision.
The decision made by the Planning Commission is the final decision by the City.
