* 9. Resolution authorizing Change Order No. 7 to Contract No. 2002-01, with Bellingham Marine Industries, Inc. for Accessible Boat Docks, San Diego Bay, in an amount not-to-exceed $190,000.00, resulting in a revised not-to-exceed contract amount of $1,379,917.64 for unanticipated removal of rock.

14. Approval of preliminary project review for Redevelopment of Koehler Kraft Company, Inc. Improvements; direct staff to proceed with an environmental review for proposed Redevelopment; direct staff to negotiate plans and specifications and to negotiate a new 30-year lease.

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

On Tuesday, January 7, 2003, the Board of Port Commissioners of the San Diego Unified Port District will hold a public hearing on the following matter:
AMENDMENT OF PORT OF
SAN DIEGO TARIFF 1-G,
RATES AND RULES.

A general rate increase is proposed effective early spring 2003, for the following tariff items: 2.6% for Dockage fees, Wharfage fees, Wharf Storage fees, Wharf Demurrage fees, Cargo Handling Permit fees, Vessel Repair Permit fees and 10% for Cruise Ship Passenger fees and Commercial Fishing Vessel Dockage fees. The following are excluded from the proposed increases: Pilotage fees and Dockage fees for Transient Vessels. Two amendments are recommended; one to the Credit Rule is to clarify intent, and one to the Application of Wharfage Rates to address wharfage charges when sufficient documentation is not available.
The public hearing will be on the agenda of said Board for the meeting of that date which will commence at 1:00p.m. in the Board Room, Port Administration Building, 3165 Pacific Highway, San Diego, California. Oral or written presentation may be made during the hearing. Copies of the proposed amendment to Tariff 1-G are available for review at the Port Administration Building, Clerk's Office, Monday - Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., 3165 Pacific Highway, San Diego.
