Sealed bids addressed to the Board of Directors, Otay Water District, will be received for the for 850-1 RESERVOIR COATING AND MISCELLANEOUS REPAIR, W.O. 30070/CIP 077, at the office of the District, 2554 Sweetwater Springs Boulevard, Spring Valley, California 91978-2096, until 2:00 p.m., local time, on February 25, 2003 and at that time bids will be publicly opened and read. A prebid meeting will be held at 10:00 A.M. on February 12, 2003 at the Otay Water District, 2554 Sweetwater Springs Boulevard, Spring Valley, California 91978-2096.
The general scope of work includes
* performing all operations, furnishing all labor, materials, tools, and equipment necessary for the complete surface preparation of the facility interior surfaces and all appurtenances, repair of all corroded areas, disposal of spent abrasives, and other debris resulting from this work, apply epoxy coating systems applications on tank interior, and all appurtenances; removal and disposal of existing sacrificial anodes and providing new anodes for installation by the District after the one-year inspection, removing existing access hatch and hinges, and miscellaneous structural modifications and all other work and appurtenances in accordance with the contract documents.
The engineer?s estimate ranges from $100,000 to $150,000. Palomar Pomerado Health will receive requests for bid documents from Mechanical Contractors until February 21, 2003. A mandatory walk through of the facility will occur on February 13, 2003 at 0900. Bid documents will be furnished to bidders and bidders will be qualified in accordance with othe qualification procedures of Palomar Pomerado Health. The City of San Diego is seeking proposals from qualified firms to provide dental and vision coverage to its active employees. Regional Youth Resource
Mapping Project

The San Diego Workforce Partnership, Inc., a 501 (c)(3) tax-exempt organization, serves as the region?s workforce broker, creating workforce solutions for employers and a variety of workforce development services to the region?s education and training providers, and to local residents (adults and youth).
The Workforce Partnership is soliciting proposals to conduct a Regional Youth Resource Mapping Project in San Diego County to determine how best to meet the workforce needs of youth ages 14-21. The components of the mapping project are:
1. Inventory of regional organizations and services core to the local youth workforce system.
2. Inventory of funding streams that support local youth workforce services.
3. Demographic analysis of local youth, including trends and forecasts.
4. Qualitative Data Gathering and Analysis of stakeholder feedback regarding the needs, assets and gaps related to local youth workforce needs and workforce issues.
Proposals must have one legal entity that will have the contractual responsibility to lead the project, though proposals may include a consortium, joint venture, or team of consulting agencies with complementary skills and experience.
