NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of San Diego will receive bids for work listed below. Plans and specifications can be obtained from the Purchasing and Contracting Department, Contracting Division, 1200 Third Avenue, Suite 200, San Diego, California, where bids are to be submitted prior to time specified.
A pre-bid meeting and/or pre-bid visit to the work site will be held, if indicated, at the time and place specified in the contract documents.  Prospective bidders are encouraged to attend these sessions.

PLEASE ACCEPT THIS AS A NOTICE TO INFORM YOU, as a property owner, tenant or interested citizen, that the Council of The City of San Diego, California will conduct a public hearing, as part of a scheduled City Council meeting, on the following project:
Matter of approving, conditionally approving, modifying or denying an application for a Planned Development Permit to construct 16 multi-story condominium structures consisting of 1,578 multi-family units and for deviations to the height and setback requirements of the RM-3-7 Zone; a Vesting Tentative Map to subdivide an approximate 45.97 acre site into three (3) lots for a residential condominium development and one Homeowners Association lot; and vacation of a retention basin easement per document No. 1999-0400948, recorded June 9, 1999, page 2517, recorded June 9, 1999, City drawing 27980-4, 22-D; and of vacation of a temporary construction area easement per document No. 1999-0400948, page 2518, recorded June 9, 1999. The approximately 45.97 acre project site is located south of Ocean View Hills Parkway, north of State Route 905 within the California Terraces Precise Plan, Planning Area 6. The site is within the Otay Mesa Community Plan area; the land use designation is medium-high residential and is zoned RS-1-14 and RM-3-7, which allows for multi-family residential development.
On November 13, 2008, the Planning Commission of the City of San Diego held a noticed public hearing on the above referenced project and recommended that the City Council take the following actions by a vote of 4:2:0:1:
1. Certify Addendum No. 4925 and adopt the Mitigation, Monitoring and Reporting Program to Final Environmental Impact Report No. 86-1032;
2. Approve Vesting Tentative Map No. 551809; Easement Vacation No. 580203; and Planned Development Permit No. 8075.
3. Recommend the applicant switch the four story buildings, 8 and 9, with the three story buildings 12 and 13.
4. Recommend the applicant explore providing onsite solar generation for the common area functions of the project.
The decision of the City Council is final.
