PROPOSED USE OF PROPERTY AND REQUEST: The Expired Map would grant a new expiration date of June 10, 2010 for a residential subdivision whose previous approval expired on June 10, 2007, that proposes to subdivide 24.62 gross acres into 9 single-family residential lots ranging in size from 2.02 to 2.90 net acres. Access to the lots will be from a proposed 40-foot private road easement off of Rodriguez Road. A Biological Open Space Easement and Limited Building Zone will be dedicated over the northern portion of the property for protection of the RPO wetland. The grading plan indicates 15,850 cubic yards of cut and 18,500 cubic yards of fill for an import of 2,650 cubic yards. Water service would be provided by the Valley Center Municipal Water District and sewer by individual septic systems. The project includes off-site improvements to Rodriguez Road up to Covey Lane, and Covey Lane to West Lilac Road.

Construct a New 60-inch Diameter Storm Drain
and Associated Outfall at
San Diego International Airport
The San Diego County Regional Airport Authority has prepared a Negative Declaration for the construction of a 60-inch storm drain and associated outfall. The proposed outfall will extend into San Diego Bay in the area of the Navy Boat Channel near the MCRD cogeneration plant. The outfall will be protected with a riprap apron consisting of approximately 250 cubic feet of rip-rap, or 12 tons. This is placed over approximately 655 cubic feet of 3/4-inch gravel fill. The County of San Diego (County), Department of General Services, invites qualified consultants to submit a Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) to perform the following task:
SAN PASQUAL ACADEMY RECONSTRUCTION DEVELOPMENT PLANNING.
The Witch Creek Fire of 2007 destroyed 20 residences and 2 administrative buildings at the County's San Pasqual Academy located southeast of Escondido. This contract is to provide professional planning services to the County Department of General Services Project Management Division in support of San Pasqual Academy Reconstruction Development Planning. The consultant shall have staff qualified to translate stakeholder experience and vision, campus site attributes, Major Use Permit conditions and Code requirements into programmatic criteria for the reconstruction.
Consultant services shall be awarded by Qualification Based Selection in accordance with County Board of Supervisors' Policy, F-40 (Procuring Architectural, Engineering and Related Professional Services). (Available upon request).
